Day one will start with a group critique- this is optional but a great opportunity to get some feedback on your work. Each person can bring a max of 2 paintings for critique.
Janice will demo a simple landscape image for day one and there will be copies of the reference photo for those that want to follow along. People can also choose to paint from their own images- any subject is ok.
Day two will be about choices. Janice will do mini demos as required and work individually with each person. Participants should be a variety of their own reference photos for this day . Any size, any subject matter. Begin a new painting or bring one in progress to work on.
Members after January 5, 2016 $100.
Class Size (Limited to 15): Participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. The first fifteen (15) will be put on the workshop list. Registrations received after that will go on a waiting list (in order of date received) in case of any cancellations. Bring a lunch or you can pick lunch up from Sources Café located in the building. Open 8am – 4pm on weekends….

Supplies for the Workshop
Bring your own reference material of any images that you would like to paint. Bring lots so you have choices. Some extra reference images will also be available.
Bring your usual acrylic supplies: canvas, paints, brushes, palette, water bucket, spray bottle, medium, sketchbook, pencil, paper towells, tissues ,shirt or apron and easel if you have one.
I use golden heavy body paint and my favorite medium is golden acrylic glazing liquid in gloss. Below are my favorite colours- you are not obligated to go out and buy them as long as you have a good selection of basic colours.
