The South Surrey & White Rock Art Society have eight Demo Artists presenting at our monthly meetings per year. To help with their presentation, we have some video equipment and a team of helpers that are available to them. Our demo artists are required to fill in this form, so we all know what help and equipment they will need.
Normally there are about 80 to 100 members attending our meetings. We use a video camera to project the meeting on to a large screen in order for everyone to see.
We need the demo artist to arrive about 6:30 p.m. to set up as the meeting starts about 7:00 p.m. (it makes it a lot less chaotic) and our business agenda is normally over about 7:20.
There is a coffee break after the meeting and then the demo artist presents from around 7:30 to 7:40 until 9:00.
We are located in the South Surrey Recreation and Arts Center at 14601 20th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
We need to have the demo artist’s statement on their demonstration, a short biography and website. A picture of the artist and one or two pictures of their work is also nice as our newsletter editor, Georgina Johnstone will include the information in our monthly newsletter. It may also go to our website.
Thank you for your cooperation.
